Privacy Policy

1. Introduction #

This Privacy Policy describes how CeroUno Ventures SAPI de CV ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use Miros ("Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.


2. Information We Collect #

2.1 Information You Provide #

  • Account information. Name, email address, and password when you create an account.
  • Billing information. Payment method details and billing address when you subscribe to a paid plan. Payment processing is handled by our third-party payment processor; we do not store full credit card numbers.
  • Search queries and preferences. Business types, locations, and filters you use in the Service.
  • Lists and organizational data. Lead list names, lead statuses, notes, and saved search configurations you create.
  • Communications. Messages you send to us via email or support channels.

2.2 Information We Collect Automatically #

  • Usage data. Searches performed, enrichments requested, exports generated, features used, and usage counts against plan limits.
  • Device and access data. IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, and access timestamps.
  • Log data. Server logs recording requests, errors, and performance metrics.
  • Cookies and similar technologies. See our Cookie Policy for details.

2.3 Information from Third-Party Services #

  • AI-generated lead data. The Service uses third-party AI services to discover and enrich business lead information (names, addresses, phone numbers, emails, websites) from publicly available sources. This data is generated on your behalf and is not collected from you.

3. How We Use Your Information #

We use collected information to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including AI-powered search, lead enrichment, saved searches, and CSV exports.
  • Process transactions and manage your subscription and billing.
  • Enforce usage limits and manage account lifecycle (trial, active, suspended, expired).
  • Send transactional communications: account confirmations, billing receipts, usage alerts, and security notices.
  • Improve the Service through aggregate usage analysis and performance monitoring.
  • Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.


4. How We Share Your Information #

We share information only in these circumstances:

  • Service providers. Third parties that help us operate the Service (hosting, payment processing, email delivery, AI processing). These providers are contractually obligated to use your information only to provide services to us.
  • Within your organization. If you are on a Team or Business plan, account administrators in your organization may see usage data and user management information for users on their plan.
  • Legal requirements. When required by law, subpoena, court order, or government request.
  • Protection of rights. When necessary to protect our rights, safety, or property, or that of our users or the public.
  • Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred to the acquiring entity.

5. Data Retention #

  • Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. After account deletion, we retain account data for up to 90 days for backup and compliance purposes, then delete it.
  • Usage logs are retained for up to 12 months for security and analytics, then aggregated or deleted.
  • Billing records are retained as required by applicable tax and accounting laws.
  • Lead data and lists are retained while your account is active and deleted within 90 days of account closure.

6. Data Security #

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including:

  • Encrypted data transmission (TLS/HTTPS).
  • Encrypted storage of sensitive credentials (API keys, passwords).
  • Multi-factor authentication (TOTP) support.
  • Access controls and audit logging for administrative actions.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.


7. Your Rights and Choices #

7.1 Account Information #

You can access, update, or correct your account information through your account settings at any time.

7.2 Account Deletion #

You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at the email below. We will process deletion requests within 30 days, subject to legal retention requirements.

7.3 Communications #

You can opt out of promotional emails by using the unsubscribe link in those emails. You cannot opt out of transactional communications (billing, security, account status) while your account is active.

8. California Privacy Rights (CCPA) #

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose.
  • Delete your personal information, subject to certain exceptions.

  • Non-discrimination. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

9. Children's Privacy #

The Service is not intended for individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn we have collected information from a child under 18, we will delete it promptly.

11. International Users #

The Service is operated from Mexico. If you access the Service from outside Mexico, your information will be transferred to and processed in Mexico. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer.


12. Changes to This Policy #

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice at least 30 days before they take effect. The "Last Updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
